In case you're not familiar with J.Crew's Collection line, it's the brand's exclusive limited-edition assembly of its favorite pieces. Think of it as the crème de la crème of J.Crew. For Spring '10, its compilation includes rose-tinted sequin dresses, silk waterfloral gowns, tulle tops, and standout trousers. We're in lust with the soft pastel hues mixed in with casual basics via denim jackets, cropped skinny jeans, and featherweight tees. Our favorite surprise? A pair of worn overalls cinched in with a dusty pink belt. Jenna Lyons, you are a genius. Click though to see the rest of the exclusive collection!
Loved the collection but wish they had used a different model. The one they used is waaaay to skinny. Hard to picture what the clothes would look like on a normal body.

Very fashionable! As I look at these collections makes me wanna put them inside my closet!! 'waaah! 'dying to have a wishrobe like in Shopaholic magazine.
Wow. Reminds me of summer time down in the city
4I love the clothes. But, I actually decided I needed to send an email to J.Crew about the model. I've never seen them use a model who looks so absolutely ill. I couldn't even look at the clothes because I thinking about how sick this girl looks. Awful.

J. Crew has been winning me over more and more each season. (Or maybe my taste is evolving? Nah...
) Either way, I love the mix of casual lux tailoring.
Great clothes: Painfully, sickly thin model.
I got this catalog in the mail this week - and I was horrified by the stick arms and gaunt face of this poor girl. It HURTS to look at her - and I can't believe in this day and age with our awareness of anorexia, etc-- that J Crew would think this looked good or was something to emulate.
Awful - horrible- irresponsible.
7Model way too thin! This girl is being starved to death! J.Crew how could you? I love the clothes, but show some respect for women's bodies.
8The clothes are made in china and are fitted on starved chinese factory workers making 10 cents a day shows they have to get skinny models to fit into their clothes now
9What are you girls talking about? Many women, myself included, actually ARE this thin. Women come in an array of body types and just because someone is very thin doesn't mean she is anorexic.
Plus, from this photo you couldn't actually tell if she is -or isn't- anorexic...you can't see the ribcage, muscle wasting, thinning hair, body fuzz, poor circulation, etc. So please, stop judging people because deep down inside you are insecure and angry. Love who YOU are and get over it.
10Seriously people. Models are skinny, get over it. Just because someone isn't a fat cow doesn't mean they're anorexic. There is a much bigger obesity problem in this country than there is an anorexia problem, so it would be a good idea to reprioritize.
