J.Crew University Pants: Love It or Hate It?

I usually wear metallics up top, but these J. Crew University Pants ($149, originally $298) have wooed me to look the other way. I'm smitten with the tailored shape and liquid silver finish. Timeless yet funky. What do you say?

funky? yes. timeless? I'm not sure you can say that. I don't hate them, but I don't think I could ever wear them...

I kind of think they're more "holiday-ish". But, I wouldn't spend the money for one-time pair of pants.

I could see myself wearing this to a holiday party or a club.. just pair it with a solid matte black or red.. or purple.. okay, ANY solid matte color.. add a little flower brooch... Okay, now I have to catch these pants on sale!

absolutely adore them. you could really tone them down for work with a nice black top, I think ;) Def one of those things you have to 'be able to pull off' though.
