Four Hollywood Darlings, Four Bold Dresses — But Only One Can Rule

Four young Hollywood darlings took CW's 2013 upfronts as an opportunity to showcase four spotlight-worthy dresses.

Four young Hollywood darlings took CW's 2013 upfronts as an opportunity to showcase four spotlight-worthy dresses. Nina Dobrev — who reunited on stage with ex-boyfriend Ian Somerhalder — showed off her figure in a fitted blue dress featuring a subtle cutout and tough chain detailing, finished with metallic Rupert Sanderson pumps and Cuyana earrings. AnnaSophia Robb did a little revealing herself in a striped, cutout one-shouldered dress and champagne-colored satin Casadei pumps. Mom-to-be Jaime King played with an array of primary hues with her long-sleeved dress, while Katie Cassidy stuck to a solid peachy Black Halo number and spiked ankle-strap pumps. All eye-catching picks, no doubt, but which dress rules in your book?

The Art World Has Never Looked Chicer — Who's Best Dressed?

We're calling it a four-way styling tie when it comes to last night's Veuve Clicquot-hosted Tate Americas Foundation Artists Dinner in NYC.

We're calling it a four-way styling tie when it comes to last night's Veuve Clicquot-hosted Tate Americas Foundation Artists Dinner in NYC. Anne Hathaway — bleach-blond pixie cut still intact — went with a leg-baring soft pink Givenchy mini and gold Jimmy Choo sandals; Ciara stunned in a nude long-sleeved gown; Sarah Jessica Parker wore a vintage floral number and loaded up on a very cool mix of jewels (Fred Leighton earrings, a Repossi turquoise ring, and a Fendi cuff and rings); and Alexa Chung opted for a dark two-toned strapless cocktail dress with ankle-strap pumps. Were you more wowed by the dramatic floor-skimming options or drawn to the leggier looks? Weigh in below!

Met Gala: Hailee Steinfeld

Hailee Steinfeld hit the Met Gala red carpet wearing a one-of-a-kind dress by Donna Karan Atelier.

Hailee Steinfeld hit the Met Gala red carpet wearing a one-of-a-kind dress by Donna Karan Atelier. Look closely and you'll see that the bone-hued tea-length dress is actually made out of leather, and adorned with oxidized antique gold safety pins and studs. To further her punk flair, the Romeo and Juliet actress completed her look with Eddie Borgo jewels, a shimmery gold Jimmy Choo clutch, and matching sparkly shoes. Green eye shadow and a tough 'do finish off her look — are you feeling it?

MTV Movie Awards: Zoe Saldana

Zoe Saldana has arrived!

Zoe Saldana has arrived! The actress hit the red carpet at the MTV Movie Awards looking sleek and sophisticated from head to toe. Saldana showed some leg in a floor-length lace floral skirt from Givenchy's Fall '13 collection, which she paired with a fitted black long-sleeved top and ankle-strap Jimmy Choo Kalpa heels. We love the simplicity of her look. Even though the skirt is inherently sexy — with its sheer panels and thigh-high slit — Saldana tempered it with a clean, unfussy shirt and minimal accessories, opting only for a cool emerald snake ring. Are you feeling her look tonight?

What's Golden: Emmy Rossum's Latest Is a Lesson in High Shine

Emmy Rossum shined bright at the 21st annual "A Night at Sardi's" gala benefiting the Alzheimer's Association, and it had everything to do with her gilded look.

Emmy Rossum shined bright at the 21st annual "A Night at Sardi's" gala benefiting the Alzheimer's Association, and it had everything to do with her gilded look. The actress — who has admitted to not working with a stylist — didn't show any signs of personal-style shortcomings, taking a strong head-to-toe stance on shades of gold. For those of us that find Spring's metallic trend a little daunting, Rossum's ensemble provides a little (or a lot) of inspiration to cull from, and here's how.

Instead of going the sexier high-shine route, the brunette beauty chose a gold sequin-covered Tory Burch tea-length dress from the designer's Spring '13 collection. The longer hemline provided an immediate ladylike effect, and rather than shying away from the eye-catching hue, she added equally cool gold Jimmy Choo sandals, gold bangles, and gold drop earrings into the mix. While it's a bold styling approach, notice that aside from the statement dress, she went with gold add-ons that complemented the central outfit piece rather than with accessories that overwhelmed. Rossum's commitment to gold-hued glamour is admirable and certainly something to emulate, but we know not everyone is ready to dive in head first. If you want to approach with caution, try styling a crisp white top with a muted gold pencil skirt, gold stud earrings, and a gold watch. For everything else, see our editors' shopping picks below.

Zoe Saldana, Reese Witherspoon, Naomi Watts, and Nina Dobrev were all on hand to support their respective stylists for The Hollywood Reporter's 25 Most Powerful Stylists event yesterday. Kaley Cuoco, Abbie Cornish, and Dianna Agron were also in attendance to celebrate. The annual luncheon, which was held at LA's SoHo House, was hosted by Jimmy Choo and honors the most successful celebrity stylists of the year. This year's list includes heavy-hitters like Brad Goreski, L'Wren Scott, and Rachel Zoe, who was recognized for dressing Jennifer Lawrence, Anne Hathaway, and Jennifer Garner this award season.

The actresses all arrived in style, and most paired their pretty daytime looks with Jimmy Choo accessories. Reese posed with her stylist Leslie Fremar, who also dresses stars like Charlize Theron and Julianne Moore, while Kaley Cuoco stuck close to her fashion guru, Tara Swennen, who counts Kristen Stewart as one of her clients. Nina, who wore a red Max Mara jumpsuit, chatted with Zoe Saldana during the event, and shared photos of herself at the event on her Twitter page, including one with stylist Ilaria Urbinati.
