Jonathan Saunders For Topshop Dress: Love It or Hate It?

Ever since I found out about Topshop's capsule collections, I have been anticipating Jonathan Saunders' work . . . until now. This Jonathan Saunders for Topshop Dress ($149) is unattractive and unwearable, in my opinion. He has designed such gorgeous frocks for Thandie Newton and the likes, but when it comes to us less-wealthy customers, he falls short. What's your take?

it's different and interesting but I don't like that it's a t-shirt dress. I would wear it though...

i would wear it if ..the neckline was boatneck ....it was shortermaybe if it was cut right around the area where the transformer legs meets the middle...lol close to the two small red"thingy " ...dont know where i wld wear it to though ...But it wld be a hit at a robot conference ....sad very sad ....

Well, sometimes you have to try things on before actually giving an opinion but I'm pretty sure this is awful.

I definitely agree that it is reminiscent of a totem pole...and the Transformers toys!

As others have said, on most body types that is not going to be a flattering dress.

i always try to picture someone that it would look good on and i've got nothing - so i am going to say that i don't like it .

It just looks like some-one was in a rush, put load of shapes together and not been bothered to finish the pattern but maybe it would look better on some-one. I personally hate it.

hmm not for me. The pattern just immediatly draws your attention to the hip-area and I don't think that the tight fabric makes it any more flattering, I'm sorry but even the mannequin looks a little bottom-heavy!
