UPDATE: Thakoon's collection for Target will launch on Christmas day, Dec. 25 — thanks Santa!

We have confirmation: Next up for GO International is Thakoon! I know what you're thinking, what happened to the McQueen possibility? Alas, it was a rumor. It happens. But sometimes rumors are true — every Pop reader knows this. In the meantime, the ruggedly feminine Thakoon Panichgul will bring us his designs on a dollar come December, just in time for the holidays. Merry Thakoon!

The GO Collection sounded like a good idea, but it's poorly fitting, clever designs made of cheap material. I thought the idea behind designer labels was quality, investment pieces. It's on par with H&M.

i dont know who thakoon is, but reading that name i knew right away the name was thai. i'm near the area. so i'm kinda interested what he'll design. richard chai stuff is not bad either. i think i need to do more shopping at target!!!!

I'm more excited about Thakoon than McQueen, to be honest. As much as I lovelovelove McQueen, I think my style fits a little bit better with Thakoon's aesthetic. SO excited!! Happy Christmas to me :]
