Kanye and Amber's Full-On Furs: Love It or Hate It?

Fur alert! I don't have a huge problem with twinkies; sometimes couples can really complement each other. Kanye West and Amber Rose wore a couple of pretty massive furs to the Louis Vuitton menswear show in Paris. They certainly look warm, but do they look cool?

If it was faux her's would be hotness! As for Kanye, I just think men in fur coats is WRONG...unless your a pimp...well, even then it's wrong but, it's understandable.

Faux fur is SO incredibly tacky! You can tell a mile away that's fake and it just looks itchy.

freedom or not, fur is awful. the principle behind it is wrong. THE fact that they make decent faux fur for fashion is fine, but having the audacity to sit back and say "i dont care that animals suffered and die its my freedom, this is America, blah blah" How ignorant. Yea there is the freedom but why would you support irresponsible slaughtering of animals for something as stupid as a coat or a handbag? you can still buy designer faux or support designers like stella McCartney.

I went to the show (I live in Paris and I have an internship in a fashion PR agency) and I saw them. Besides the fact that I was disgusted thinking about the fur's origin, they looked extremely tacky and they were just being plain rude with Vuitton's staff.

Faux or not, I never liked the look of fur on anyone. I think fur usually looks tacky, especially on men, but that just my personal opinion.

I think "soapbox" is right on. The question isn't a fair one. Most people now are having a problem with Kanye and his clan. It wouldn't matter what they were wearing. Its hard to separate feelings for the couple from their clothes. Having said that, I just think Kanye is weird- I don't dislike him anymore than any other spoiled star. Having said THAT, I looove fur. I wish some PETA fool would come up to me and say something about any fur I am wearing. This is America. My wearing responsibly made furs is my first amendment right to free speech (what we wear is a recognized form of free speech). I like their coats.

First off they are in Paris not LA. Europeans are much more civilized about what people wear or not. I personally do not like anyone telling me what I can do. Endangered species are not allowed to be used for anything. And, I agree with everyone about even if they wore faux, they have bad taste in style.

It's not that cold where they are..... Maybe the Inuit of the Canadian arctic, who use the whole body of the animal and then give thanks to the animal, and kill within reason... but for LA, I don't know. Can't be that cold. Even if it was faux.... yea, still ugly. i agree with the above!

I really do not like this couple. It's not the fact that it's fur. It's just extremely tacky and I can't believe they wore this to a Louis Vuitton show. I wouldn't have let them in.

Wearing animals for fur and killing animals for food are two separate issues with two separate sets of problems. I'm against wearing fur. I'm not a vegetarian, but I do eat meat only from cage-free, free range animals.

briandiesel, many animals are still alive when they are skinned. I don't know how anyone could wear fur thinking about a little bunny's skin being pulled off while it's still alive.

Her fur coat looks like it comes from a snow leopard. They are very, very rare and endangered. Simply wrong. These animals are killed for our vanity, that is wrong. Pointless and just wrong, wrong, wrong. Animals that we eat are killed to nourish the human population, of course, those practices are a whole other argument all together. If you took a second to think about Kanye West's personality what would you describe him as?

Still dont see whats wrong with fur coats. And yes, I've watched the PETA videos. But it's not like I feel bad for the chicken or cattle that die when I eat them.. Maybe if it was a seeing eye dog coat...
