How many feathers does it take to make a custom tutu for ballet sensation Elena Glurdjidze? Over 2,500. Dang. There's no doubt Karl commands the best for his clients. In fact it took three seamstresses at Chanel’s Lemarié atelier more than 100 hours to create this masterpiece. “[Your costume] is 50 percent of how you are going to dance,” said Glurdjidze, a principle dancer with the English National Ballet. “It is very important to have a beautiful costume.” These pictures says it all . . . Oh, thanks to Karl and his knack for filming, you can check out Elena's sensational impromptu performance from The Dying Swan at Chanel.com!
