Where a Wallpaper Print Works For a Dress: The Costume Institute Gala

Tonight's no normal night for the Metropolitan Museum of Art, what with a lengthy red carpet unfurled and a steady parade of some of the world's most glamorous. And while some women have gone for solids and others for black-and-white pairings, we've seen a whole lot of blooms. Karolina Kurkova, in stunning satin organza Marchesa, might be our favorite showing so far. The dramatic, hand-painted flowers in navy and cream made us think just a little of luxe wallpaper furnishings (but classic, sophisticated ones!). Whatever it has you thinking of, there's no denying that it's gorgeous. Scroll down to see shots of her stunning number from every angle (including glimpses of the $1-million-plus Harry Winston diamonds she has on).
