We were floored by her gorgeous Oscar de la Renta wedding gown from her Montana nuptials, so you can imagine our excitement when we got a zoomed-in look at Kate Bosworth's equally impressive vintage-inspired wedding bands (yes, she got two wedding rings!) created by Ocappi president Isaac Gurary and creative director Haki Abehsera.
See the rings, and find out what Kate said about them, here.
Both rings were made by hand and set in platinum, and they took over 36 hours to finish! And Kate was definitely pleased: "We are amazed at the level of execution of a design this unique," she said. "Because this is a ring worn every day, it is essential that it reflects our personal aesthetic. We both appreciate a classic, clean design in all aspects of our lives. This ring is a perfect representation of [that]."
The bride's first half-carat band — featuring 18 brilliant baguette diamonds bezel set horizontally — was made especially to match her '20s art deco engagement ring. The second features 12 diamond baguettes, is horizontally set, with more than a carat of diamond weight.
"Michael mentioned that maybe we should do something with 12 stones representing each month of the year. That's where we decided not to be subtle and how ring number two was created," Abehsera revealed. Of working with Kate, Abehsera raved: "Collaborating with Kate was so wonderful because she has such a great style sense that it made the creative process so vivid."
