Kate Hudson's Winter White Fur: Love It or Hate It?

A stark white fur coat is quite a way to make a statement when it's nippy. Kate Hudson made a bold appearance in her furry outerwear at Dolce & Gabbana's Pre-Fall 2008 Collection event. I've always thought that Kate wears cold-weather clothing really well, but this is taking it to a highly sophisticated, and dramatic, level. I heart, do you?

I eat meat. But fur is just wrong. I mean, meat is food. Food is essential and healthy. But fur? Come on...it looks good, but it's 2008, there are synthetics!! Real fur is sooo barbaric! I agree that PETA is sometimes agressive, but they have a point and we should follow them.

I'm not too fond of fur, and this specific one doesn't even look that high quality.. Kate Hudson is a lovely girl, but some vintage fur if she must (it's eco-friendly because of the recycling and it doesn't contribute to any new killings) in a better design would make me vote 'Love It'.

I absolutely don't eat meat. The livestock killed for food are treated almost as horribly as animals killed for their skins. If you love one animal, you should love them all!

I think she looks pretty. I myself don't own any fur, probably because I can't afford it. But if that's what she likes then who cares.By the way, how many of the fur haters that commented eat meat??

It's disgusting and wrong and besides that, there is no use for it - it's just a showpiece. I hardly think she needs to wear a fur coat if she can have her bare legs hanging out.Oh please tell me this coat wasn't made from a baby seal! :cry:

Sad- I don't like fur (real or fake). This coat reminds me of my white Bunny Q-tip.

Boo-hiss on all fur (real or faux). The only statement it makes is that she doesn't care how many animals die or how bad the synthetic material pollutes the environment as long as she looks "sophisticated". She would have looked lovelier in a winter white cotton coat! I hate to be snarky, because the color is beautiful, but come people it's fur or the illusion of fur and that's just icky.

The kind of animals killed for that frivolous coat were not also used for their leather. Also, I am proud of to say, I do not do many things that my thousand year old ancestors did!
