If you're one for prints, the Kenzo Fall 2014 collection is for you. Bright color, bold patterns, and playful silhouettes (such as a teacup skirt over a pantsuit) found sartorial harmony on the runway, which tempered its theatrical pieces with outfits based in solids. But even those looks were fused with personality, such as a black pantsuit rendered in quilted fabric reminiscent of a puffy jacket or a black peplum jumpsuit layered over a black turtleneck. Kenzo takes the guesswork out of matching color to color and pattern to pattern. When you step into the world of creative directors Humberto Leon and Carol Lim, anything goes.
