We've Got the Short List For Kim Kardashian's Wedding Gown Designer

When Kim Kardashian toured a potential wedding venue with Balmain creative director Olivier Rousteing in April, rumors started swirling that he could be the designer of Kim's bridal gown. But, if history has taught us anything with Kim, it's to expect the unexpected.

So while we've placed Rousteing on the short list (a spot he retained when Kim arrived to her pre-wedding festivities in his studded mini), he doesn't stand there alone. Kim and Kanye have tight ties with more than one covetable label, so we're placing our bets on a few worthy racehorses with the big day little more than 24 hours away. Source: Getty

Until Kim was spotted making the rounds in Paris wearing Balmain's intricate designs, the thought of what a sultry bride Kim would make in Rousteing's dresses hadn't quite crossed our minds. Mixing sexy style with tough edge, we'd love to see Kim work her curves in this Parisian house.

If we were betting men (make that women), we'd double down on Givenchy. Sure, Riccardo Tisci's invited Kim to sit front row at his shows, dressed her for the Met Gala, sent adorable custom baby gear to North West, and cast Kendall Jenner in his runway show. But the most important point is that he has a relationship with Kanye, and we all know how much influence Kanye has over Kim's style. Source: Givenchy

Let's face it, a Vera Wang gown might bring back memories for Kim. But despite any "something olds" in her closet, Kim and her family have a long-standing relationship with Wang. Not to mention, Kim will only settle for the best, and when it comes to bridal, Wang is among the best. This season's collection, which made its debut earlier this week, has all the curve-hugging lines and dramatic volume that Kim craves. Source: Vera Wang

Olivier Rousteing wasn't the only designer Kim was spotted with in Paris. She was also seen leaving the Lavin store yesterday, where she got some serious face time with Alber Elbaz. Fortunately for Kim, Elbaz's label wouldn't be unprepared to accommodate her needs, as a bridal line, Lanvin Blanche, is already part of the company's DNA. Source: Net-A-Porter

This wouldn't be the first time that a trip to Paris brewed speculation about Kim's wedding details. When she recently sat front row at Stéphane Rolland Haute Couture, we couldn't help but wonder if she had bridal interests at heart. The designer would certainly make a sexy choice, with revealing cutouts and dramatic ruffles at the center of the Spring 2014 couture collection.
