The only latex I currently own is a pair of dishwashing gloves. I'm wondering if it's time to expand my collection to include this Kova & T Latex High Waisted Skirt ($209).
This concept looks like a lighter, shinier version of leather, but is latex any more comfortable? I'm up in the air on this one. What do you think?

If worn appropriately it can look good. For me, it's not my style.
I agree Rosa. It wouldn't look good on me.
Trashy...
I would think there are very few people who would look good in this....it does not seem flattering for the average girl
i would have to see it in person cuz latex for a skirt?
This is so not usually my style, but I kinda love it. I can picture it with a really demure tie neck billowy blouse...sort of stuffy on top and wild on the bottom!
Ughh. It looks nice but uncomfortable sweating is what first came to my mind.
In the picture it looks cheap and really tacky, but if styled right it's a great skirt. I've seen Niki Hilton and Selita Ebanks rock it with a nice long fitted placer and a plain white tank simple, edgy, and sexy!

I LOVE IT BY THE LOOKS...BUT I HAVE TO FEEL THE GARMENT AND I DEFINATELY WILL NOT PAY THAT PRICE FOR LAYTEX
Love the idea and look of it on the model..but not on me!
On the right person and with the right clothes, why not?
I am NOT the right build for this (petite but curvy), so nyet. You'd have to be super careful though, this could go from chic to streetwalker REAL fast.
maybe, if I had a role in Taxi Driver...
I think only about 1% of people who wear this would really pull it off well--the other 99% are just going to look trashy.
And this seems like a recipe for heinous butt sweat.
Looks like it'll be wet w/sweat by the end of the night.
how i feel abotu this skirt is how i feel about the shiny leggings like this: how can this be comfortable at all? how can it be flattering and LOOK like a $200 skirt? i guess you'd have to show me an outfit. but for now, i say no.
I think it looks sexy, and hello if you wear the correct undergarmet it dosent matter if your a little chuncky. However, I agree with Dubn8tr, you couldn't wear it for longer than an hour before your legs would be sweaty, yuck!
I freaking love it. Where can I find it for less than that? You know, like the F21 version of it maybe
Most likely at a fetish shop.
I think it's pretty cool, I might wear it under the right circumstances...ONLY if I was assured it wouldn't squeak when I walked.
Eek. I'd wear it for a costume maybe...that's about it, though!
Seems a bit sweaty.
Umm, how do you wash this thing ?
Undecided. This would be gorgeous on say someone like Ashley Olsen, a Gossip Girl or legs-for-days Chanel Iman (maybe even Bilson could rock it?); however I do not see this working on anyone else.
it isn't real latex...real latex is flattering and durable, though it does get a bit warm. this is a lower quality substitute...and a steeply overpriced one at that. this type of fake latex usually costs 100 or under for a full-sleeved full-length catsuit.
Unfortunately, a very small part of the population could wear this style without looking ridiculous or a hooker. It's a nice concept, but wouldn't be able to wear it to the office.
Latex is so difficult to maintain. What they don't tell you is that your skirt is Going to rip in half, after three or four wears. It's just like a balloon. If your fingernail atches it, it's toast. Also, that beautiful glossy sheen is difficult to achieve and maintain. It requires a special latex-shine spray, and if you sit down, you have to re-gloss the back. It is really flattering though. I mean, fantastically flattering to the figure. One more thing. You feel everything thought it, rain, wind, etc. So it feels really odd. Hella stylish for a night out!
latex is for sexual fantasy and condoms.
I'm guessing no, Fab, latex is probably not more comfortable than leather (Iwould think it's less, since good leather is usually very soft, and I doubt latex is ever soft). it's interesting, this kind of material and design has the ovewhelming potential to look trashy and cheap, I actually think this is a beautiful and fun, edgy skirt - I could definitely see a (stick-thin) woman pulling this off...
