The Do Something Awards brought a bevy of bright colors and maxi dresses. Hi, it's Allison McNamara. We have the scoop in today's Fab Flash. The Do Something Awards took place in Santa Monica last evening, and PopSugar editor Michelle Manning was on the red, or should I say blue carpet. What was the scene like?
It was actually really, really fun carpet. You know, it was a warm day out there in LA so a lot of the stars just took a few photos and went ahead on inside.
Did you see Lea Michele?
I did. She looked stunning. She's with her boyfriend Cory Monteith, and the two of them actually won the Best TV Star Award. Definitely. And I love this outfit. This is Armani, I love the muted grey palate. She wore this plunging low neckline, a look we've seen a lot from her recently, so no surprise there.
My favorite was this hair.
It was stunning, and Twitter was blowing up about Lea Michele's hair. She looks gorgeous.
I also loved Sophia Bush.
She was in bright orange, she's been with Do Something for a long time, so you know she's a staple there.
This Olcay Gulsen dress is just such a showstopper. I love a bright maxi for summertime. Another one of my favorites is Ashley Greene in that metallic Michael Kors dress. A little fit and flare, very on trend right now. Did you see her?
I did, just briefly, she went ahead inside pretty quickly.
Who else did you get to see?
I did see the guys of The New Girl who were actually hosting.
They were funny guys They are hilarious, I actually talked to Max Greenfield last week and he was talking about being excited to host the awards and I think he did a great job.
Totally, me too. I actually got the chance to be backstage and I got to interview Nick Cannon, Will.I.Am, and Joel McHale. We also had our very own PopSugar photo booth. So celebrities like Nikki Reed, Giuliana Rancic, Ellie Kemper came by to take some really cute and fun photos.
Yeah, actually Nikki Reed re-tweeted her photo and it looked like a lot of fun. Well, everyone was dressed to impressed on the carpet and it was a super hot day in LA. Our favorite looks were definitely the three up here, Sophia Bush, Lea Michele, and Ashley Greene. Let us know which one you guys liked best by leaving us a commit below.
