i don't think it works either way, haphazard...they're not very modest if you are well-endowed. and by not very modest I mean... trashy looking. like, "why didn't you get something that has support? You clearly need it." you know?

I tried on a really cute bandeau top at Old Navy, but I'm hard to fit in the chest - the band was way too big around, but the top was so small my boobs were falling out.

i bought a bandeau, but it didn't give me enough support. so I tied the center string in a knot and cut the remaining string off. Then i attached two of the strings to the sides and tied them behind my neck (like a halter), so it would hold up the top more. People ask me where I get my bathing suit all the time now!
