Lily Allen Sings In Lingerie: Love It or Hate It?

We all appreciate sexy lingerie, but we don't all have the guts to show our sexy lingerie to the world. Except for Lily Allen. The singer started out performing a show in London wearing a buttoned-up black blazer with lace sleeves. Into the show she unbuttoned her blazer and what did fans see? A black, sheer, lace teddy . . . and her nipples! Lily is known for being quirky, but I doubt they saw this one coming. What do you think — is it tacky or all part of the show?

The lingerie part isn't that bad, i actually like it. But not weaing nething under it during a public performance or newhere in public 4 that matter is TRASHY!!!! Especially when u can see her nipples! Can u say whore? im srry but this makes me sick!

Disgusting. She wore leopard print lingerie when performing at T in The Park and I felt sick. It's not that she doesn't have the looks for it , I think it's so trashy and pathetic :oy:

Lingerie on stage is fine, but that particular piece isn't looking too hot on her.

Some Lingerine-esque attire can look fabulous, but in this case I believe it's a bit too much.

If she feels comfortable, why not?

That's good that you feel that way, but it doesn't mean that everyone else does.

I accept it, it was just strange that my comment was singled out. But I do think calling her gross is a lot worse than saying something about one feature. And if a girl were to read MY comment and feel badly about herself, that isn't my fault. No one would put any stock into my opinion. I feel good about myself and don't care what other people think about my body. I'm not perfect but I don't know anyone who is.

First, I never said I have never said anything mean. But if I do and someone points it out, I apologize because clearly I must have offended someone if they felt the need to mention it. You just clarified what you said and that's fine and I'm glad you did. Second, I was not "picking on" you. I merely do not take issue with the other comments. Things like "classless" or "cheap" are just opinions about her in particular, but your comment about her legs is something that can easily make other girls reading it feel badly about their own bodies. Sorry if you felt like I was picking on you, but if something bothers me I have the right to say something, especially on a public forum.

mariserin and whoever, I didn't say anything about her thighs, it's her Britney Spears calves, like she does it on purpose or something. But I know neither of you have EVER said anything rude or unnecessary about anyone. And why pick on me and not the other people who called her "gross" "cheap" and "horridly classless"?

I could like it if the jacket was closed and her nipples were covered. Some lace peeking out of a feminine blazer could be pretty cute. But she's just trying to show us her boobs to distract us from her music. It's working!

i love lily but i'm not so much a fan of this look. i'm not even against the idea of her wearing lingerie on stage, i just think this particular look is not so good.

she looks better than she ever has, so maybe that's why she's showing off? i don't know...the little cami would still be sexy if she put on a black lacy bra. i don't feel its appropriate to show your nipples in public...EVER!

Agreed, mariserin. It's pretty obvious that Lily Allen can't control the fact that her legs will always be bigger than the rest of her body. I actually kind of love this look...kind of.

would've been cool if we didn't have to see her actual nipples. i mean, yeah, ok, maybe she's about "femme power," but when men are about man-power you don't see them whipping their willies out to make a statement, do you? i don't think it's appropriate.

Why is that certain body part keep being revealed? First Lady Gaga and now Lilly Allen? Personally, I would be very against this type of statement, but with Lily Allen it seems to be okay. Especially her recent album is all about femme power and being able to be strong in a relationship for oneself, at least I thought.
