Look Book Love: Project Runway's Leanne Marshall, Fall '09
Cities and Skylines. That's what
Project Runway season five winner Leanne Marshall calls her Fall '09 collection. "This collection was inspired by the repetitive skyline of my new home-base, New York City, and the fantasy of glamour that one has when moving to a big metropolis," she explains
on her website. Just as with the
Spring line she created for the show, I'm once again thoroughly impressed. There was a reason she stood out to the judges and that reason is her one-of-a-kind vision, gorgeous tiered details, perfect asymmetry, and use of striking colors. I am especially smitten with her use of
gray and gold — one of my favorite Fall combos.
