Look of the Day: Biker Chic

For her first motorcycle excursion, marryd2nordstrom took biker chic to the max! In fact, at first glance, I thought she might be Rihanna! I love the edge her look has to it, and especially those to-die-for booties...

i appreciate everyone's concern. however, i am in one piece. regardless if id worn jeans or tights, not much would have saved me after hitting that pavement. jeans would have shredded off just as easily. "PLUS, PLUS, PLUS" it was 92 degrees in north carolina that day, so there was no way id freeze. i was actually damp from the night's humidity. i wasnt driving, so i didnt need gloves. i do, however, have leather fingerless gloves from urban outfitters. the shoes are booties, so the heel locked into the foot pedal perfectly, which was way better than sneakers or flats.

PLUS PLUS PLUS. You'd freeze. it gets REALLY cold on bikes because of the wind and lack of surrounding material to keep wthe wind OFF of you. plus gloves are needed for biker chic. i stick to cute plain little blue fuzzy ones.

Yeha this is edgy and cool but I have to point out that riding a bike is way too dangerous to be wearing LEGGINGS. seriously. You'd lose your leg. Biker chich is LEATHER pants, with whatever hot ass black boots you ca ncome up with, a tight shirt, and a jacket of leather type. and helmet. no high heels, unless you've got experience riding, and no leggings. You'd die in a crash if you wore that.

Thats what I thought too, most bikers make sure they are more protected than that. But apparently we are wrong. lol :P

i actually love patterned tights. nordstrom has a wonderful selection. target has some cute and simple patterns for great prices. i have on leggings (which are footless). i believe tights cover your feet (someone correct me if im wrong), so any length that fits you will look great! thanks janet117!
