Look of the Day: Living la Vida Leggings

Liquid leggings are hard to pull off but knicoleg makes it look easy. The key, as shown here, is to keep the rest of your look super simple. A white tee, black jacket, and flats — perfecto. She's certainly living la vida leggings! Oh, and I dig the fancy mirror frame.

I think it's adorable. Generally I agree with what many have said that leggings should not be worn as pants. They're just too tight and thin (I also don't believe that anyone was implying YOUR butt was dimply), but I actually really like this. I've been looking for a way to wear them as an 'everyday' thing as opposed to nightime. I may have to try it out :).

I think the type of legging depends on the length of the top. If you're going to wear these kind of tights, the top needs to atleast cover your butt. With even thinner material, perhaps a short dress even.

As my name implies, I have no fashion sense. But, I think you look fabulous! It may not be a look for everyone out there, but in my opinion you definitely have the bod to pull it off, and beautifully! Who wants to see a stick figure in fabric? You've got some gorgeous curves, so go forth and rock them, girl!

You look lovely, there's nothing wrong with your body from what I see. If you were my friend and asked my opinion on this look, I would suggest a longer top also for an everyday look. The shorter top might be pulled off in a rock concert situation, with some pointy toe booties. IDK, that's what I'm picturing.

I saw this LOTD right before I had to sign out earlier this afternoon. I was very disappointed in what I read then, and I was just hoping that the EXTREMELY lovely knicoleg didn't know that it was even here(she is a very new member!) Unfortunately I see that she did! :( I am just going to hope that her feelings haven't been really hurt here!!! I do see that the majority of the ladies were both positive and complimentary! They showed class! As far as the other members that didn't realize, or maybe just didn't care that this was a real person with real feelings... well to them I would only say that it only takes a coward to insult someone while hiding behind their computers, and.... I would also like to mention that it ALWAYS seems to be the people that NEVER show us what they look like..... that are always the ones that feel like they can say anything that their little hearts desire! Pathetic!!! Not only is this member extremely gorgeous, but she also looks fabulous wearing something that most people (myself included) would NEVER be able to pull off! Congratulations Knicoleg...... You look beautiful!!!

Okay, this morning when I logged on to check out the look of the day I was pretty freaking shocked to see my own pic. At first I was pretty stoked until it turned into such a controversial mess. So I need to put in my two cents here. This was a picture I posted in comparison with another picture w/ jeans instead of leggings. I didn't expect to be posted on look of the day, I didn't put my picture up specifically to put myself out there to blogland. A lot of these comments are just expressing their opinions and I totally welcome that (and thanks for all my supporters out there, you guys rock!), but the comments that imply that I'm fat and dimply are really unnecessary :( You can't see any dimples in those pictures! And I don't have the legs to pull the leggings off, I am the first to acknowledge that (and I say so in the description of the pic). I thought this was a site where I could get some honest, useful feedback. Telling women that they need to be anorexic toothpicks to be involved in fashion is crazy, imho. And I was chosen for look of the day by the fashion blogger, whuddup.

I love latex leggings (the only type of leggings that I can tolerate), but I would only wear a dress/shirtdress with them, personally.

I'd never wear them either but I do think some of the comments were rude and from previous experience with other websites, it IS always the ones without postings like like to get nasty. The people who have put themselves out here do not deserve anything other than constructive criticism. It's okay to say "not my thing" or suggest modifications but I think some of these comments have gone past the acceptable point.

Not being rude to anyone, just don't like the look. I wouldn't wear them and don't want to see them on any size leg: fat, medium, or stick thin. To each their own.

I agree with Royal Blue. You can wear the liquid ones with shorter tops. Oh, and you dont have to be an Olsen twin to do so. knicoleg - You look hot. And one more thing, funny how all the people who are saying no no no dont have any of THEIR looks posted ;) Just saying! It takes balls to put yourself out there.

Listen people.. I don't think most leggings should be worn as pants but the liquid or lame leggings CAN look sexy with a shorter top. Plus. lots of people wear their leggings this way... Just because you don't like it doesn't mean no one should wear their leggings that way but you have every right to express your opinions. I don't think any of the comments here are rude. If you think the comments here are rude, you might be overly sensitive. People are allowed to use the comments to express how they feel. If they don't think leggings should be worn as pants... they have every right to type it and express themselves. No one here said anything rude or mean to the girl in the picture. I wouldn't be offended by any of the above comments.

Wow... Some of these comments are really rude. It's one thing to suggest a change in her outfit but another to straight out put her down. Seriously, rude. Anyway, I think you really pull it off well! I could never be brave enough for the leggings, so way to go.
