The Puff Sleeve White Blouse - Forever 21 has a nice alternative for only $15.00 for White Puff Sleeve Top The colour is more rounded to emphasize the "puff" in the sleeve as well, which is kinda limited in the photo you have of me with the pointed collar.
Trousers - While Khakhi is a basic - the trousers in my outfit above were more golden and basically had a sheen - with the threading. However since the photo is the display here - I will just go with showing you this Khakhi Pant by Wet Seal - only about $23.00
The Black Belt - Various alternatives for the black leather belt are availible at Bluefly at reasonable prices - Selection of Black Belts I would recommend the Michael Kors Belt. Or you can go for any even cheaper alternative at Forever 21, $13.00
Bronze Pumps - Now it's time to search for those elusive bronze pumps. Here you will find a a pair of BCBGirls Bronze Pumps priced at a reasonable $40.00
Granted you've taken the few bargain pieces - your total is now roughly under $100 or if you went ahead and went with the higher buy, roughly $150.00. Now all you have to do is rummage around for jewelry - everyone has a pair of Golden coloured hoops and a pearl necklace - if not, no matter - just steal mums for the day!
This is my usual day to day wear - so I rely on quality over quantity in this case - it's very important to have a good pair of trousers and collared shirts - at least for me as a student. Thus the relatively pricey nature of this outfit. But honestly I value quality of quantity any day when it comes to almost any outfit... maybe not socks though...:) except the argyle patterened and... ok fine I am guilty there too.. :P And Cherfer about being "boyish" - unless you think that pants and collared shirts are just for guys...I wasn't really going for... "one of the guys looks.." ;) but I guess since I'm a student of medicine that may come across as such - when really it's just the norm for dress.
