Look From Emanuel Ungaro Fall 2007: Love It or Hate It?

This look is my computer wallpaper right now. It may be because I am sporting cobalt blue nail polish, it may be because I am a sucker for sequins, for whatever reason I love this dress. Although I would have no place to wear it, if I were a diva like Carmen Electra I would totally work this. Although I think the model could use some color on her legs! I know what you're going to say: it's a bit too ice skater costumey but aside from that, do you love it or hate it?

I like this. But im just wondering, does this mean Express stores are ahead in fashion? I went to the mall the other day and saw they had a bunch of dresses similar to this one. I might pick one up just for fun:)

It does look like an ice-skating outfit. It might look nice on the right person but it doesn't have a lot of wardrobe longevity. P.S. What's with all the 'Anonymous' comments that don't say anything?

this dress is mad 80s, though the shortness makes it somewhat bearable and kinda sexy. but i'm so dead set against this blue nail polish kick.

It looks like some sort of mod meets disco sequin disaster... there's way too much going on with this dress. I think it would hypnotize someone if you looked at it too long.

I think this dress is PERFECT for a New Year's party event. It's got the right amount of pizzazz and sexyness that a New Year's outfit should embody. So while it may look quite odd and over-done at a garden party, New Year's Eve Parties, or even Runway fashion after-parties will make a huge splash - this is a definite hot little number.

Aside from the model scaring me with her death-stare, I still hate the dress. It's true, sequins are very dance team, and very 80s-90s *shivers*

Me thinks sequins are pretty, so long as not too flashy, otherwise the whatever it is gets to be more of an attire for on stage performances. Sequins can be tricky, and TOO MUCH can cheapen a potential otherwise could be elegant look. Would have liked to see this style of dress NOT fully covered with ALL the sequins. Maybe the bodice portion would have been enough, the bottom portion and sleeves could have been done with a compatible textured fabric less sparkly. But what do I know? lol.

Okay, so I'm fully ready to admit that I probably don't have any fashion sense, or, rephrasing that, any good fashion sense, but I love it!! Well, maybe love is an overstatement, but I do like it very much. Very bright, and quite difficult to pull of, I think it's also a lovely little summer dress to wear in a less typical sense. I'd say the only thing I don't like about it is the square of material missing on it's right side (the models left when looking at her), I think that just looks odd myself :p But then again, this is me the weird one who likes this :D

this dress reminds me of something a Project Runway contestant could have come up with for that ice skater way dress test they went through. was that one or two seasons ago?

kind of gaudy, but i really like that cobalt blue color and the sequins. i'd be a little confused as to where to wear it...maybe a party or maybe just even running errands...VERY gutsy, but doable!

Hmmmmmmmmmmm....hmmmmmmmmmmm...I think if it wasn't sequiny I would like it more...but I will admit it's one of the cuter outfits I have seen on the run-way :D
