It's a known fact: Balenciaga's Giant City Bag (around $1,595) is one of the most coveted handbags. What's also a fact is the, well, fact, that most of us aren't millionaires. But what if we still want the bag? Good news...we can still get the look without the hefty price tag.

There are countless Balenciaga knock offs, but I think this Urban Expressions Gabrielle Satchel ($52) is the best and most reasonably priced. It has the gold studs, the braided handles, and most importantly, the patent leather (or pleather in this case). Who said you have to be wealthy to carry a dazzling bag? Not I!

Who the heck cares? It just your opinion if you don't like knock offs. This knock off doesn't say Balenciaga on it at all. Its about the design the look, not the label. You purse-aholics are annoying.

I'd much rather save the money and get the real one... something about being over 25 and hating PVC! If I'm going to get a cheaper bag, I'd go for a really original design, not a copy. Copies are never as good as the real thing...

If I saw someone carrying this "knock-off" I wouldn't think to myself that it was one. I would just think it was an adorable patent leather bag. If it was Chanel, LV, Coach or something like that (that you can easily spot) then I would question but not this one. I love it. I steer clear of knock-offs. I say why not just save for the real deal but not with this. I guess I am not familiar enough with Balenciaga to even know there were fakes.It just seems like an ultra-cute handbag and I would without a doubt purchase it in the grey!

I look at all the girls walking around campus with their fake Chanel quilted purses and get really, really sad. They will even brag that they got them at a 'purse party'....where someone comes with a bunch of knockoffs and you hang out and have drinks and buy fake purses.HOW GROSS!!!!!!!!!!!!Why the hell would anybody do this? It ruins the integrity of the product...and it is terrible for people that own the real deal to see all of the nastiness around them.I'm saving all of my money from when I go to Iraq for a few things:Chanel ballet flatsan Hermes Birkina Chanel suitEither a Longchamp or Balenciaga. I haven't decided yet.

I agree, I would rather save and splurge to get the real thing, then feel like I accomplished something for myself, or find something really pretty and leather at T.J. Maxx

Balenciaga does not use patent leather, it is a thick soft leather with a slight shine that fades with use.

I've considered buying a knockoff bag, but I've never actually gone through with it. Most of the really good knockoffs are $300+ anyway and for that price I could easily buy one (or several) good quality bags.

The Balenciaga is beautiful. The knock off's photography doesn't do it any justice. It does not look like anything special. I agree with the others...I would never carry a knockoff of a bag knowingly.

I, too agree with TheMissus. Although I cannot afford terribly expensive designer clothes, shoes, and bags, I am not about to buy a cheap copy of it. I would rather find a hidden treasure in a vintage store, a deal at TJ Maxx, or something equally unique and well-made. But blatant knockoffs just turn me off completely. Plus, it is also an exercise in copyright infringement. Forever 21 has had how many lawsuits filed against them?

Oh no, no, no, no, no. This knock-off is so wrong. I absoultely LOATHE BLATANT knock-offs. Why would you want to carry a knock-off on a designer piece instead of the real thing? Try finding a stylish UNIQUE bag in a more affordable price range. I think it's wrong to carry a blatant knock-off of a piece that a design team has spent time putting together. It's just abosultely wrong.
