The Look For Less: Christian Louboutin Rolando Platform Pumps

Remember how I wanted Victoria Beckham's ravishing red Loubs? Well, I decided to do something about it. While I can't afford these fabulous Christian Louboutin Rolando Platform Pumps ($700), I can certainly aim for a similar style.

These Type Z Red Pumps ($79) were sent to me from the shoe gods. The shape is dead-on and so is the color. This cheaper pair is right up my alley. Watch out, Victoria!

Thank you!! I fell in love with loubs the moment I saw them, but I always thought that look was a far off dream. The cheaper version is pretty close, and I think I just might buy them.

MINTIE, are loubs really that comfortable compared to cheaper ones?? i've never even tried them on, i just drool and stare and dream of the day i have $700 extra to spend on shoes..............

I'd have to try it on to be sure, but most inexpensive brands carve up the backs of my feet, so I end up wearing them once and never touching them again.

I adore my Rolando's!!! Nothing will compare.However, if you don't know, don't care or can't afford Loubs, these are pretty close. Aldo had a pair in the spring that were similar as well. Probably around the same price point / quality.

Love them! And coincidentally, I just realized today, that I am subconsciously drawn to red shoes! I have 7 pairs!

Why would you pay more?? Well, wear a pair and you'll understand ;-) Feeling like you could wear them all night and still run a marathon without sore feet is the best feeling ever!! I consider buying expensive shoes an investment in the long-term health of my feet :rotfl: That's an awesome find, Fab. Really spot-on!!
