The Look For Less: Elisa Atheniense Patent Blue Handbag

Every once in a while, I like to wear an in-your-face statement bag. The thing is, I have issues with buying such a trendy piece for so much moola. For instance, I love this bright Elisa Atheniense Patent Blue Handbag ($795) but the price is far from desirable.

This Xhilaration Large Patent Hobo ($23) has the same amazing color and patent finish. It also comes in yellow, pink, and white. At that price, I can splurge on another color without feeling guilty — love Target!

OK first off -- if you're eyeballing a patent leather bag that costs too much, why on earth would you buy a cheap pleather alternative? It's gross.

yeah i think the target one looks cheap. it's totally hit or miss there; a have a ton of good quality bags from target but you kind of have to dig through the junkier stuff. i do love the designer one though! maybe it'll go on sale...

Some Target bags don't look cheap while others, like this one, do unfortunately. However, I have not seen it in person and this could just be a bad photo, and I am definitely willing to look at it some time while I am in Target!Here is another one which I have actually seen in person and is pretty cute. Some Target bags don't look cheap while others, like this one, do unfortunately.
