Quick lesson: The word Babouska means grandmother in Russian. With that said, these Gucci Studded Babouska Sandals ($1,195) are not something the average grandma would wear. Fergie, on the other hand? Now that I can see. Pretty fabulous, but I can't even fathom the price.

These Jeffrey Campbell Sistah Studded Sandals ($120) are the spitting image of the former without the extra digit in the price tag. The lower heel makes for less teetering and more stomping. If rockin' stems are your thing, I'd suggest you jump on this great deal!

i've seen these around a lot and i think that for the most part - people can't really see too much of a difference, but i think that the die hards will be able to call them out from across the street. i love the originals though and i just wish that i had the $$ to get them and flaunt my purchase. i feel like i could wear the heck out of those!
