When I came across these gorgeous Gucci Platforms ($928), I couldn't help but envision the leggy look I'd achieve wearing them. Despite my attempts to rationalize the purchase — their versatility, the timeless design, the supple pebble leather (I could go on) — at this price, the look would have to remain a fantasy. Not to be deterred by a lack of funds, BCBGirls Devona Platform ($85, originally $110) is an almost identical substitute for the gushy Guccis. The same gold-toned hardware and double ankle straps make this a dead-ringer for the designer version, and at just a fraction of the price, I'm not about to pass this up.

i actually like the bcbg heels better. the gucci ones look so 1997... but i suppose that's the direction we're headed.
1I also prefer the BCBG heels.
2I think the BCBG ones looks more expensive --- maybe because of the leather on the Guccis? it looks cheap
