Just when I thought I owned all the cardigans a girl could ever want, I came across this cool J. Crew Space-Dyed Cardigan ($108). The burnout design is innovative and I love the long, lean cut. It's a timeless investment, but sadly, my budget won't allow for it. During times like these, improvising is the only way to go.

This Delia's Burnout Cardigan ($35) is more in my price range. There aren't any buttons but I can easily cinch in the flyaway front with a slim belt. It's such a great deal, right?

I think it's cute but would def save some $$ and go for the Delia's one.
1Delias is the way to go I agree - $108 dollars for a cardigan is just way too much in my opinion for a simple piece.
2I'll wait to see if it goes on sale....There are those adorable $45 t-shirts that JCREW has all the time that I would love to buy but just can't manage to shell out that kind of dough....and they never go on sale. Oh well!
3FAB, you should wait for a month or so. I never buy items for full-price at JCrew b/c they go on super sale a month after they come out! I predict it'll drop down to $60. Still kind of pricey, but...
4J Crew has gotten ridic expensive in the past couple years
5Yeah, agreed. J Crew has no place being in that price point for a cardigan.
6It's cute! But yes, J.Crew all of a sudden got super expensive...lame.
7Ew.
8The J.Crew version is much nicer; wait until a sale.
9Why should a cardigan be that expensive?!? Even if it is cute! I prefer the J.Crew one, but would go with Delia's b/se it is more reasonable.
10Seriously, with times like this I see deals that swap similar products for a lot less. As much as I like the lean cut of J.Crew sweater, I think the Delias one is equally as cute, especially if it is cinched like you said. Now.. what to do with the money you've saved!
