It takes a while to warm up to leather pants because of their motorcycle-biker connotation, but surprisingly, a lot of you would wear them. My philosophy is less biker, more rocker, with a feminine twist. I have a pair of liquid leggings, but pants are cool because you can wear them with more cropped tops. These Paige Denim Black Label Skinny Leather Pants ($398) would be heavenly with an airy ivory chiffon blouse and a loose cardigan. But since I don't need real leather, I found a faux pair that's equally chic and not as pricey.
See the look for less.
These Guess Leatherette Skinny Jeans ($89) are not cheap but they're doable. Despite not being real leather, they have the same sheen and fit as the Paige version. If you're one of the rebellious girls who answered yes on our leather poll, then add these puppies to your wardrobe.

Tod's
Just ordered the Guess leatherette jeans, which I plan on wearing with the Free People sweater you featured last week- you have fantastic taste, it's dangerous for my credit card ! =-)
1The issue with fake leather is that horrible smell....but I can see paying $400 for leather pants that would go out of fashion in a year kinda pointless.
2I just hate faux leather. I'd reather pay the $400.

4I can't justify spending $400 on such a tacky clothing item.
5I think the pants look awesome and would go well with an edge rocker looker. Unfortunately tight leather would not flatter my legs so I'll have to pass. :-/
