Stephen Webster makes some dope stuff. This Superstud Silver Cuff ($1,595) is one of his way-cool creations, but why is it so expensive? I would feel horrible paying that much for a bracelet that I can't even wear every day. So I set out to find something with the same dramatic feel minus the dramatic price . . .

This Forever 21 Faceted Cuff ($5) doesn't have three-dimensional pyramid studs like the Stephen Webster version, but it has the same punk-rock aura. It also doesn't have the ridiculous price tag; this is chump change in comparison. It's nice and shiny and would lend sass to any look. Sorry Stephen, your version is to die for, but I have to decline.

The price is of little importance. The mastery of style, precision in artistry and his keen direction of future is what you pay for. The sterling silver at $40 an ounce is of no matter. A cheaper imitation is a total loss of monies. The original designer and his or her creations will be worn more often and enjoyed much longer. Thus making it much less expensive per wearing. Too many women get caught up in buying junk that they throw out one season later. Paying for artistic brilliance defines your moral ethos. And when you go to resell it, instead of getting $2 for it, you will get much more as a authentic work of art.

Good LFL Fab. I still dig the Stephen Webster one better _ I like the way the studs jut out further. I like the drama! But alas - Forever21 will do for that price!
