Sneak Peek! Madonna's Material Girl Sketches Revealed

Back in February, it was announced that Madonna was adding designer to her resume. Then she dished her inspiration, daughter Lourdes, and now the first sketches are out. What do you think? It's quite cutesy and colorful, but keep in mind that the target audience is girls aged 13 to 25. I can totally see Lourdes rocking all of these with her Converse sneakers. It's rather '80s, mixed in with modern touches. The Material Girl collection, retailing from $12 to $40, will hit Macy's exclusively in August.

love the designs; they're definitely not appropriate for a teenager (no matter what anyone says about what many teens do wear now-a-days). but what can you expect from the always awful, always innapropriate Madonna?

They're cute, but a lot of these things don't seem like they'd be age-appropriate for her daughter or girls her age. I'd have been grounded if I'd tried to sneak out of my house with a corset top that didn't even cover my stomach (moreover, a lot of 13 year olds don't actually have anything to fill out said corset). If she were going for late teens, early twenties, I think she'd be fine, but this clothing is just way to grown up for a 13-15 year old demographic.

I think these designs are way to adult for a 13-year-old to wear.
