Marc by Marc Jacobs Backpack: Love It or Hate It?

The first thing that came to mind when I saw this Marc by Marc Jacobs Exclusive Canvas Backpack, $200, is that it looks alien. I guess I'm just used to traditional backpacks, because this one looks foreign and strange. It looks more like a diaper bag than a backpack. Maybe I need to see it on someone to really know how it's supposed to look? What do you all think?

The only thing I can say is I'm glad this bag doesn't have a design on it, because if it did..with those big, ugly pockets, it would be a big, ugly mess.

I like it. It's definitely different, but the patches on the middle sak are cute and it looks like it would be great to separate stuff like makeup/towel/etc at the beach... A little pricey for a beach bag if you ask me, but whatever. ;) ~SwtAsSgr~

I felt diaper bag when I saw it too, but I think it has something to do with the color. I think a darker color would be more backpack-like? That's not a word but you know what I mean:)
