I've lightened my jeans, have you? If not, get to steppin'. I made the switch when I saw Kate Bosworth in these J Brand 912 Thrasher Ripped Jeans ($218). Super cool, right? Love the bleaching effect. The look is total '80s but, like Kate, you can make it as modern as you like. I didn't fork over that amount for the J Brands but I found a similar, less expensive pair I love. With Spring on the horizon, there is no better time to lighten your jeans.

1I hate those ripped ones. I found a nice light wash pair from Express though.. their Mia Ultra Skinny is a really nice, flattering fit

6What a coincidence, I just brought some very light blue/gray skinny jeans today at Kohl's for $14.23.
7Reminds me of these early 90s jeans I stole from my older sister, I LOVED them.
I really like the colour, but I'll stick with my dark jeans - my tops and accessories don't really go well with light colours.
8Blech. I do NOT like the faded jeans look. For me, darker is chicer...
