Marios Schwab Rodin Ruffle Dress: Love It or Hate It?

I'm all for avant-garde dressing — as long as it's flattering. This Marios Schwab Rodin Ruffle Dress ($2,565) will definitely make an artistic statement, but I'm not too sure about the crazy, red ruffles. In fact, it kinda reminds me of black-forest cake with red frosting. Eye-catching, yes. Beautiful? You tell me . . .

Looks like he found red fabric scraps out of a 99cent fabric bin they have in the fashion district and bunched it up in his hands and threw it on a piece of black cloth and called it a dress.

Well.....ummmmmm.....yah. could hav been better if they put those ruffles hoizontally across the dress instead of on the sides of the dress. thats just my opinion, and it would still b avant-garde.

Forget the fact that it's ugly, it's extremely unflattering, even on the skinny model. I don't mind unusual clothes; we all have different tastes. But I hate it when clothes turn your body into something unnatural.
