Given the lag in consumer spending this season and the reputation for some big-time collaborations to fall short, some were wondering whether the New York arrival of Matthew Williamson for H&M would be a success. Despite a smaller than expected turn out, a representative for H&M told WWD that half of the garments sold out within eleven minutes of opening. Wonder how that could have happened?
