Melissa Vinyl Wedges: Love It or Hate It?

Don't get me wrong, I'm all for saving the environment but these Melissa Vinyl Wedges ($70), are not the answer to the problem. These eco-friendly shoes claim to be surprisingly comfortable but does that make up for them looking so funky?

these shoes are lovely (i own a pair) and for all you people who think they are not eco friendly think again they are all made out of recycled plastic and even when your feet do occasionaly sweat they still keep thier delicious tutti frutti smell. REAL KEEPERS

With all the horrible toxins that are released into the environment with the production of plastics paired with the fact that vinyl never decomposes means that these shoes are a far cry from being eco friendly. No thank you.

Love the color, but I can't imagine these are at all comfortable. And they definitely do look cheap.

Vinyl is a sin in my family. I think I'd be shunned at mother's day if I wear these.

I'm a Melissa lover (actually, this model I don't have but it's on my list) and they are completely comfortable, they smell great always (that's really true. I have a 2005 one that still have the chewing gum smell) and the only problem - the sweaty feet - is easily to solve with some baby powder!

These are tacky and look like they are cheap and would cut into your feet while wearing. NO, thank you!
