The Met's Costume Institute Gala: Chloe Sevigny

Chloe usually has great fashion sense, so I don't understand why she slacked for this important event. I love the bold color choice, but the silhouette looks more like a cheap plastic table cloth than an expensive dress. And her hair looks like she didn't comb it. I will give her a couple points for the dramatic bondage heels. Do you agree?

Color was ok...cut????? What was she thinking? I mean really Chloe is another girl with a great figure. She has no reason to put a potatoe sack on!

FABSUGAR! You listen to me, young lady! Chloe Sevigny is not fashion forward! Not at all! She simply puts on the most random things together, and then gazes smugly at cameras, her eyes saying, "HA! Let's see if you call me out! You can't! Because you all are sheep! And I look ridiculous and everyone fawns on me for it! and i have not brushed my hair in a month or so!" and silly little girls like Mischa Barton sit around and take notes and then tuck unwashed fleetwood mac teeshirts into every pair of high waisted anything they can find. and add cowboy boots and bizarre little vests and mad little caps. it's awful. DOWN WITH THE SEVIGNY!

I would actually be relieved to hear that it was a sheet and not a real dress. That would mean it hadn't been designed...yikes.

This isn't horrible, the fitting just seems off. It lacks some "touches" I think it could have been great it just didn't quite make it there.
