The Met's Costume Institute Gala: Jessica Simpson

OMG. Is this Jessica Simpson or Jessica Rabbit? Don't get me wrong, I am a Jess fan, but this is a little too much. Those boobs, they are just, just...everywhere. And the Roberto Cavalli dress...a little too much metallic...or something. Actually, come to think of it, it reminds me a lot of Beyonce's Golden Globes Dress. What do you think?

Love the structure on the top, but I hate the switch to gold on the bottom. This is case where mixing your metals does not work! Not only do the metals clash, but the box design in the gold clashes with the dot design in the silver. The gold part just looks cheesy.Maybe these clashing elements are a metaphor for JS’s state in life right now. If so, this is undoubtedly why she gravitated to this design, and thus it is a perfect personal statement.

She looks like someone should string her up from the ceiling. I think I would have liked this dress on any number of other people, but not her. She needs to cover those bad girls up, for sure.

The dress is very belly dancerish. And it might work for a smaller-chested girl but her puppies are squished flat and oozing out the sides.
