Met Gala Tonight! Check Out Behind-the-Scenes Pictures

Are you as excited as we are to see the incredible fashion that is sure to walk the red carpet at tonight's Met Gala? Often referred to as the Oscars of the East Coast, the Met Gala, helmed by Vogue editor Anna Wintour, is arguably the most fashionable event of the year. We'll be live blogging the event tonight, covering every look that comes down the red carpet, starting around 7 p.m. EST.

This year, the Gala honors the Costume Institute's latest exhibition, Savage Beauty, which looks at the work of British designer Alexander McQueen. It's a special time for the house of McQueen, as Kate Middleton, now Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, wore a wedding dress designed by current Alexander McQueen designer Sarah Burton.
