The Met's Costume Institute Gala: Claire Danes

Color gradation on a dress looks good when it's subtle, but Claire's Prada gown is anything but that. The bright orange center looks like it's been spray painted on. I would have much preferred the dress in all gunmetal grey. Now, I'm no beauty expert, but I'm sure Bella would tell Claire that pink lipstick with a grey and orange gown doesn't work. Thoughts?

Maybe I'm missing something. I like the dress in an odd sort of way but her make-up is all wrong.

I absolutly LOVE it! Stunning colors and modern! What a relief to finally see something mordern cut! The only thing is, that it could have been taiored better under her boobs so their shape had been better.

Dress isn´t so bad. Material is interesting. But pink lipstick is not very good with orange dress.

I like the color gradation but the fabric looks to stiff. A bit more flex and drape would be nice.

The idea of the dress and it's colors is a nice attempt, but the orange should've been paired with a warm shade, not a cool gray. And the pink lips are sooo wrong. A soft, pinky lipgloss would've worked, but the butt-bright pink and the butt-bright orange equal sad makeup artists everywhere.

I actually really like the dress, especially with that necklace. I would have chosen another colour for the lips, though. Anyway, I love Claire Danes...--Of all the things I've lost, my mind I miss the most.
