The Met's Costume Institute Gala: Liv Tyler

Liv Tyler looks gorgeous! I love the bold turquoise color of her Calvin Klein dress and her makeup is just so pretty. It's nice to see her in a bold color as usually she tends to stay somewhat muted on the Red Carpet. What do you think?

What was Calvin thinking? This dress looks frumpy & although the color is bold has a great balancing effect with Liv's hair color & skin tone it's WAY too much of that color. It looks like a giagantic turqois gunny sack. The shape of the dress obscures Liv's shapely figure & produces a image of drowning in a sea of turquois. I expect better from Klein.

I love the color on her but I'm not sure about how the dress fits. Maybe I'm used to seeing her in more neutrals tones than something that's out there. I applaud her for the bold move!

Pretty makeup, but the gal has a nice body and should show it, not hide it. This dress is too shapeless.

She was after a dramatic look here, pale skin and strong lips. I think she looks nice. She is a friend of Kate Moss. She grew up with rock chick mom yet she turned out to be so normal and insisting on living a normal life, hope she can give a few good advice to her friend Kate.
