The Met's Costume Institute Gala: Victoria Beckham

Most celebrities opt for long, luxurious gowns, but not Victoria. The celebrity designer pushed the fashion envelope tonight wearing a one-shoulder champagne silk polka dot minidress by Marc Jacobs. A long train and funky satin platform pumps further exemplify her unique sense of style. Are you loving her look?

It's not her best but it's not bad in my opinion. I take greater issue w/ her shoes. Not a fan of the heels.

LOVE the dress - not the shoes. i think that's where my eyes keep going and i'm just not liking that piece.

Ignoring the orange skin (it's hard to get rid of once it happens, okay) I like it. The dress is a risk but she pulls it off

Ugh. Great dress, shame about the orange skin. Leave it VB to ruin a great dress by going totally tanorexic. Only Lyndsay Lohan could have effed this up any worse. She tries so hard to keep her locked away but every now and then her inner WAG makes a break for it. Sadly for MJ this is one of those occasions.

The dress isn't bad, but why oh WHY did she have to overtan herself and slick back her hair like that? She must've just come back from the spa and didn't have time to go back and spruce herself up for the event.

sometimes I wonder why people this rich can't seem to afford to get better fake tans... and I hate this whole short at the front with a massive long train look people seem to be sporting lately.. it looks so weird! and not a good weird.. just a very wrong weird

I don't hate it, remember it is a Costume Institute gala. I give her props because she wore the shoes way better than Leighton Meester in her crazy ensemble.

HOLY TANGERINE, BATMAN! I wish she had worn orange. It would have made my night to try and see where the dress ends and her skin begins.

If i could get past the fake tan the dress might actually do something. Marc Jacobs tends to overwork his garments, and the detailing of this dress needs to be changed just a little bit. The fabric is quite cute! This is the costume gala, and our favorite celebrities and models have every excuse to wear something that could end them up on the worst dressed list. COSTUME is the key word :)
