Milan Fashion Week: Blumarine

I'm a sucker for vintage-inspired pieces, and the Spring 2007 line from Blumarine, unveiled Friday at Milan Fashion Week, is one of the most charming collections I've seen. These sorts of seductive and sweet retro-style pieces are Italian designer Anna Molinari's specialty: embellished cardigans, a-line party dresses, Peter Pan collars, and pretty, tailored bows. Slightly edgier details, including confetti-like beading and short skirts, allow the fashions to feel modern and not the least bit prissy.
