Miu Miu Baroque Wedge: Love It or Hate It?

These Miu Miu Baroque Wedges make quite a statement, with their black patent-leather straps and bold, carved wooden soles. Miu Miu also makes a similar and even more stunning version that uses decorative red silk for $760. Either way, this design really is a work of art, even if it isn't the most practical shoe to tromp around town in. What do you guys think: Love it or hate it? Do they look dirty like that on purpose? It looks like Britney Spears wore them on one of her drunken escapades! Even cleaned up they are really ugly. Normally Miuccia Prada goes against the Italian trend of over-the-top (think Versace). She should stick to what works!

I'm usually a HUGE fan of Miuccia and I'll usually defend any Miu Miu or Prada design, but I'm not feeling this. I don't hate it, but I don't really like it.
