The Style Set: This Week's Most Fashionable Partygoers

Let's hear it for the boys.

Let's hear it for the boys. So far, this week's most stylish parties have focused mostly on the work of men's designers — or designers who happen to be men. London this weekend saw the presentation of the Spring 2014 menswear collections by designers like Sibling and Alexander McQueen, and the coordinating parties drew dapper dudes and stylish women alike. Model Arizona Muse showed up at a party Esquire threw with Jimmy Choo, and Tommy Hilfiger and his wife Dee were spotted attending the shows.

Stateside, jewelry designer Phillip Crangi toasted the launch of his collaboration with Liberty United, alongside his sister Courtney Crangi, Jenna Lyons, and Prabal Gurung, among others. A look at those parties and more, here in the gallery.

The Style Set: This Week's Most Fashionable Partygoers

This week's fashion parties ended on some decidedly uplifting notes.

This week's fashion parties ended on some decidedly uplifting notes. On Thursday night, Jason Wu hosted a benefit dinner for the AIDS Community Research Initiative of America, and Barneys CEO Mark Lee hosted a party to celebrate Proenza Schouler's First Collection capsule.

But perhaps this week's biggest party was the amfAR Inspiration Gala, where models Lindsey Wixson and Eniko Mihalik and other industry stars gathered to support the charity. But they weren't the only fashionable people who attended parties this week.

Models Cara Delevingne and Jourdan Dunn took over London's fire station on Wednesday night to celebrate the launch of DKNY's international public art project. Dita von Teese and Taylor Swift both looked stunning at the 2013 Fragrance Foundation Awards in New York, and Tory Burch wore a dark floral dress to a dinner for The Film Society in the Big Apple.

Stella McCartney also threw a party to present her Resort 2014 collection on Monday. The event had a star-studded guest list including Anna Wintour, Naomi Watts, and Jessica Stam. A look inside those parties and more, here in the gallery.

Kate Moss Really Is Going to Cover Playboy After All, Says Her Hair Guy

Looks like those rumors about Kate Moss posing for the cover of Playboy are true.

Looks like those rumors about Kate Moss posing for the cover of Playboy are true. Her hairstylist Oribe Canales confirmed that the British supermodel will make an appearance on the magazine's January 2014 cover.

Canales told Refinery29 at a hair show over the weekend that he styled Moss's hair for the cover shoot, which has already wrapped. Whether or not she's nude on the cover remains to be seen. And while she's been photographed without clothing in the past (for proof, see her campaigns for Calvin Klein and St. Tropez self tanner, along with a litany of magazine editorials), posing for Playboy is certainly a departure from the world of high fashion.

For Playboy's part, getting Moss on the cover is a milestone in more ways than one. The January 2014 cover celebrates the magazine's 60th anniversary.

Moss's fans were almost evenly split on whether she should pose for the cover. In a POPSUGAR poll this March, 53 percent of readers said they were in favor of Moss appearing in Playboy, while 47 percent said they'd prefer it if Moss stuck with fashion glossies.

Stars Align For Stella McCartney's Resort 2014 Garden Party

If you build it, they will come — even if it's raining cats and dogs.

If you build it, they will come — even if it's raining cats and dogs. On Monday, Stella McCartney arranged her Resort 2014 collection in New York's very wet Jefferson Market Gardens and welcomed a stream of industry insiders and celebrities (Anna Wintour, Madonna, Kate Bosworth, Steven Tyler, and Jessica Stam, just to name a few), all of whom braved the downpour to come and see McCartney's latest offering.

The clothes, of course, shined just as bright as the guest list: the offering was composed primarily of garments in yellow, cream, and pale pink. McCartney injected layers of interest to her color story with some specially developed fabrics, like a python-embossed jacquard and a rose-colored paisley print. But perhaps the most interesting pieces were the ones that nodded playfully to the surrealist movement, with lips appearing as prints, lace embroideries, and even beaded appliqués.

A look at all the clothes — and the stars who loved them — here in the gallery.

Calendar Girls: 12 Model Geminis

Gemini are notoriously curious, enthusiastic, and eternally youthful, but with that comes the Gemini twins' paradox: those born between May 21 and June 20 also have a tendency to be restless, moody, and quick to react.

Gemini are notoriously curious, enthusiastic, and eternally youthful, but with that comes the Gemini twins' paradox: those born between May 21 and June 20 also have a tendency to be restless, moody, and quick to react. Gemini typically are defined by "opposite" personality traits, which is why it makes a lot of sense that some of our favorite models would fall under this astrological sign. Take, for instance, Naomi Campbell (who just celebrated her birthday), Abbey Lee Kershaw, and Adriana Lima — all wildly successful models who can play the seductive siren for Vogue Italia as easily as they can slip into a couture look for Versace or play the coquettish innocent for a coveted Gucci fragrance campaign. We'll let their work speak for itself. Think you know which other models are quintessentially Gemini? Only one way to find out. Set your sights on some of the most stylish Gemini around, here in the gallery.

Coco Rocha Now Moonlighting as a Tech Columnist

The endlessly multitalented Coco Rocha has added another line to her résumé with a stint as a columnist for a magazine.

The endlessly multitalented Coco Rocha has added another line to her résumé with a stint as a columnist for a magazine. But it's not a fashion glossy she's writing for. Instead, Rocha has joined the team at PC Magazine.

"It might seem a little strange to have a high fashion model write for a technology magazine, but I'm actually the kind of girl who'd rather buy a new tablet over a new pair of heels any day of the week," Rocha wrote in a blog post explaining her new job. "Hopefully in my column for PCMag you'll see the ways I think the worlds of fashion and technology can and are coming together."

That intersection makes sense for Rocha, who's known for her social media prowess — she was the first model to break a million followers on Google+, and she's been a featured speaker at technology conferences like the Bespoke Luxury Summit in Sydney, Australia.

Rocha's first monthly column, published earlier this month, is about 3D printing and how it might change the fashion industry.

"What I'd like to see in 3D printing is an increased number of wearable materials," Rocha writes. "I know that we are right on the cusp of a serious revolution in the way we buy, sell, and manufacture clothing, and I think if the right industry leaders jump on these opportunities, this could be a golden time in fashion."

Update: Victoria's Secret Publishes Old Photo of Kate Upton Amid Controversy

UPDATE: Kate Upton's return to Victoria's Secret may not be exactly what it seems.

UPDATE: Kate Upton's return to Victoria's Secret may not be exactly what it seems. After Victoria's Secret Fashion Show casting agent and 10 Magazine editor Sophia Neophitou promised they'd never use her, the newest lingerie catalog does, in fact, feature Upton on the back cover. The snag? It appears to be an old photo of her from 2011. A Page Six source revealed that Upton is supposedly unhappy about the whole thing: "Kate's not currently contracted to work with Victoria's Secret, and they didn't contact her before they used these images."

Before this latest Kate Upton vs. Victoria's Secret controversy, it seemed Upton was having the last laugh. The blond bombshell — currently on the June cover of Vogue — resurfaced on the back of the lingerie brand's latest catalog, even after Neophitou's pronouncement.

In February 2012, Neophitou, who also helps to cast the annual Victoria's Secret Fashion Show lineup, infamously declared they "would never use" Upton in the show because she was "too obvious." But Neophitou didn't stop there. She also said, "She's like a Page 3 girl," referring to the scantily clad women featured in the London tabloid The Sun. "She's like a footballer's wife, with the too-blond hair and that kind of face that anyone with enough money can go out and buy."

While Upton made her Victoria's Secret catalog debut in 2011, she hasn't worked with them since. Instead, she has made a name for herself as the face of Sam Edelman, Guess, and of course, as Sports Illustrated's Rookie of the Year in 2011, and then as the Swimsuit Issue's cover model in both 2012 and 2013.

Strike a Pose: What the Supermodels Wore on the Cannes Red Carpet

What's black and white and red all over?

What's black and white and red all over? At the 2013 Cannes Film Festival, those seemed to be the colors of choice for the models walking down the red carpet.

Newcomer Barbara Palvin wore an unexpected but chic black tuxedo by Alexandre Vauthier to the premiere of Cleopatra, and Heidi Klum wore a white, studded Versace gown to the premiere of Nebraska. Inès de la Fressange, at left, wowed photographers in a strapless red dress on her way to a screening of Jeune & Jolie. But Milla Jovovich was spotted in all three colors when she chose a Spring 2013 Chanel Couture gown for the Blood Ties premiere.

But there were a few gorgeous girls who broke that trend: Joan Smalls saw Cleopatra in a stunning pale pink Pucci, and Liu Wen wore a deep purple Roberto Cavalli gown to see All Is Lost.

A look at what the rest of the runway set wore on the red carpet at Cannes, here in the gallery.
