America has definitely established herself as a red carpet queen. I love this dusty blue Marchesa she wore at the the 38th Annual NAACP Image Awards — with its jeweled patches and whisper light layers. But that asymmetrical hem slightly irks me. Am I being nit picky?

Dress is ok, not crazy about it. But my bigger issue is the sloppy hair. Why bother getting dressed up if you're going to neglect your hair?

I'm not sure I like this dress on her. It makes her look a bit matronly (which of course she's not) and the high waist gives the illusion of a baby bump (it may just be the angle at which the picture was taken though).

I love the color and she looks so lovely. She never looks "made-up."

I absolutely love the dress, but for some reason I'm not loving it on her. Maybe it makes her looks shorter? I can't figure out what my problem is!

i think for her body type the asymetrical works since it draws the eye toward something else.
