When fash packs take to the city for New York Fashion Week, street style is at an all-time high. From test-driving new trends to impeccable signature style, we've spotted some pretty fresh looks, like this unique take on denim and leather. This fashion fan added a little personal flair via spandex shorties layered underneath; it adds a whole new dimension, a little sporty, a little '80s. "Should I wear a skirt? Or should I wear shorts? Gee, I'm too dim to make up my mind, so I'll wear both." Dumb. If it's chilly, wear pants. Or tights. But wearing shorts and a skirt? Looks silly.

I've been quite obsessed with the biker shorts trend. I wear them with tunics and under dresses, but i for sure feel inspired to wear them under a skirt.

I've been doing this since elementary school. Between wind, upper-thigh rubbing on really hot days and not being able to run or jump or bend over in a skirt otherwise, I've always found it necessary.

I normally wear spandex shorts under skirts or dresses for privacy rather than for fashion. It's can get windy where I live, so it's almost a necessity. However, I would try to keep them hidden, but the woman in the picture pulls it off.
