I get the retro thing, but it just looks so heavy, and the colors are so drab. I like that she's being modest for once, but.. I think this dress makes her look old.

Did someone tell her is was a Halloween-Oscars? Hate it all, from the makeup (which looks like an artsy 16yr old who loves makeup too much) to the horrible dress and hair and wird contacts.

ugly dress and I think you are right Amy, it just look her hair extensions are visible. I don't even understand why she is at the Oscars to begin with.

i want to like it. the dress looked ok on tv, but its all so overwhelming on her teeny body. i wish the hair was looser and the make up lighter. anon, she is there b/c joel is DJing the show.

Voted undecided. To be fair, the dress looks better on tv and makes her body look better. Why is she even at the Oscars? There doesn't seem to be much movie star power tonight- I keep seeing lots of tv actors and musicians and others who I'm wondering why the heck they are there like Miley, Elizabeth Banks, Amanda Seyfried.
