Exclusive: What's Nina Garcia Already Buying For Fall?

Even guy friends and dads who have never read a fashion magazine likely have heard of Nina Garcia — she's just that well known. The editor extraordinaire snared her spot in pop culture with her turn as a Project Runway judge, a job that likely came pretty naturally when you think about all the fashion she's viewing and digesting on a daily basis. Her taste level is worth listening to, and as our earliest thoughts on Fall 2014 trends start to form, we wanted to know her top five picks from the 3.1 Phillip Lim runway (all available to shop already on Moda Operandi!).

Why was she so drawn to Lim's showing? His "Fall collection linked some of the strongest trends of the season; colorblocked fur added the right amount of drama, military green looked fresh paired with white for fall, oversize menswear inspiration and details were present as were chunky knits and powdery pastels."
