Nine West Astonish Pump: Love It or Hate It?

I have been wanting square-toe pumps for some time now so these Nine West "Astonish" Pumps, on sale for $53, caught my eye instantly. If you recall, Ashlee Simpson wore red square-toe pumps at Us' Hot Hollywood event. I am really liking the black patent, as well as the square buckle and thick heel. I would totally rock them with a black mini skirt and a ruffle blouse. What do you think of them?

I like them but I don't think I would buy them. i love slingbacks on my feet but i just don't love the buckle.

These look like they are made for a trendy, mature woman. The shape of the heel, squared toe and the pilgrim buckle don't say youthful at all.

I don't like that the buckle is the whole toe. I think it would make your toes look stumpy
