Old Navy Metallic Jeans: Love It or Hate It?

Metallic is a great trend because it instantaneously adds shimmer and shine to a dull outfit. Old Navy has applied that concept to its denim with Old Navy "The Flirt" Metallic Jeans ($20, originally $35). I personally like a little sheen to my jeans so I would wear these if the silhouette is flattering. What's your opinion?

I have them and I really like them - they don't make my thighs look bigger or anything, and they really make more of a lot of my sweaters and tops...

Metallic clothing = bad. Just makes you look like you've been wrapped in tin foil. And Old Navy makes the worst jeans ever: they fit fine in one place, are too tight in another, and sag everywhere else. I'm not sure who/what they've used as a model, but I don't think it was a human being.

It depends. I *think* that I like them. But at the same time, jeans usually don't fit me unless they are skinny jeans. I have no butt and slender legs. I would have to see them in person, NOT order them online. They could very easily be tacky.

i'm wearing old navy jeans right now and i have gotten many compliments on them in the past, you wouldn't even think they were old navy jeans! i love how they fit...will definitely be adding these to the wardrobe! : )

They're OK, but they are in the same category as white jeans...they only look good on skinny girls.

They look horrible in person, there is only silver on the seems of the pants, they are so bad!

I'd have to see them in person to make a real judgment but the whole concept seems tacky to me.

I thought they looked tacky and cheap in the commercial. Old Navy clothes do not fit me well at all, so I might be a little biased against the company.
